What comes to mind when you hear the word “church?”

Some might picture an old, cold building, with a few old, cold people inside? While others have never had an experience of church before.

But the church isn't defined by buildings, it’s about people. It’s the name given to a spiritual family made up of every age, class and race who, despite their differences, are committed to following Jesus and growing more into the people God intends them to be. He is the glue that binds it all together. He is at work in the world and wants us to be part of all he is doing.

That means that there’s a place for you here with us and we want to invite you to Try Church this year.

If you have any questions about the Christian faith or how to connect with our community, feel free to email info@saintcatherines.ie

Or come to church this Sunday at 11:00am and meet one of the staff team.

Looking forward to meeting you soon,

Prayer for freedom

Jesus take my hand and walk with me.

Set me free, heart and mind, to know and love who I am.

Teach me about my gifts and limitations,

show me how to discern your presence in my life

and make decisions that flow from

who I am whatever the circumstances.

Be the centre of my life. Amen.
