Over the next nine weeks (starting Feb 3rd) we will be studying the book of Nehemiah together as a church. You can download a PDF of the Series booklet here. Each Sunday we will teach on one or more chapters and we want you to read each text with us in the lead up to Sunday. That way, not only will you have read the passages, but you will also have started to reflect and ask questions on what you’ve read too.

One of the keys to our success in studying Nehemiah will be linked to our ability to stop and ask questions and to do that we need to learn how to practice ‘Awareness’ & Application’Awareness involves asking understanding questions e.g. What have you learnt from what you’ve read? It involves asking paradigm questions e.g. How does this text change the way you see and think? And it involves asking realisation questions e.g. Where do you see this at work in your own life or in the world around you? Application involves asking behaviour questions e.g. How can I put what I see here into practice personally, in my connect group or in my wider context?

Come on this journey with us, read, study, ask questions and live it out in community.

I can’t wait to see what God will do with us, in and through it all,

With great love,

Eoghan Heaslip / Minister in charge
